Meet Hudson

My name is Hudson Knock, and I started Hudson’s Yard Care with nothing more than a push mower, a trimmer, and a small bike trailer. At 13 years old, I was walking door-to-door, pulling my equipment behind my bicycle, mowing lawns and building relationships with neighbours throughout Ancaster.

What began as a simple summer job quickly grew into a passion for landscaping and providing exceptional service. Through years of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to quality, Hudson’s Yard Care has grown into a professional landscaping company serving homeowners across Ancaster, Hamilton, and surrounding areas.

Today, we operate with commercial-grade equipment, liability insurance, and WSIB coverage, allowing us to take on projects ranging from weekly lawn maintenance to garden renovations, mulch installations, seasonal cleanups, sod installations, and property improvements. While our company has grown, our values have remained the same.

We believe that quality matters. Every property is treated as if it were our own, with attention to detail, clear communication, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
